Poetry by James Piatt: “…and where”

…and where

… is that perception,

The one pasted on the tire rim,

Waiting to be changed?

… is that thought,

The one glued on the barn door,

Longing to be born?

… that vision,

The one deep inside emptiness

Yearning to be free?

… that poem,

The one hidden in my mind,

Longing to be written?
