In celebration of Women’s History Month, the work of a talented group of students is on display at MiraCosta College’s Oceanside, California, campus. This commemoration of influential women musicians was originally created for display at the 2015 Oceanside Music Festival. Elizabeth Bautista and Darren Williams were the lead artists, and other contributing students included Ally White, Joey Curiel, Christina Curiel and Ruben Beaz. The mural is on loan from the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation during the month of March.

The Oceanside Music Festival will be held from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2016, and will offer concerts with a variety of music genres, showcasing both student and professional musicians from throughout Southern California. The event is free to the general public.
